This is just an update about the nature of South African beaches. A few days ago, we had the most beautiful rainbow over the ocean. It was amazing, and it was such a powerful reminder to me about the covenant nature of our LORD!

Then yesterday before dinner, our leaders threw us into the van and drove us down to see a beached whale. It was crazy! I now smell like dead whale water and the tuna fish for dinner didn't go down too easily. But it was awesome to see this giant creature. I think a lot of animals died recently during a big storm, and are now washing up on shore.

Also there are huge jellyfish and Portuguese Manowars all over the shore and you have to be careful where you step. I think the Lord is just loving on me and showing me the greatness of his creation! I just love seeing all these animals and feel like I am back in organisimal biology.

When I get home for Christmas I will post these amazing pictures! Please be praying for us as we enter a time of intense study and preparation for Kenya. We are also trying to build relationships and minister one-on-one here in the community. I am excited to see the Lord move here in these last few weeks!
