We all made it all safe and sound here on Saturday night. It only took us 14 hours, this was great because we were afraid that it would take at least 20 hours! We are staying at UCSA which is a camp center similar to the Spring Fling location for all of you who ever got to experience that. We are less than a 5 minute walk from the beach and are being spoiled by the most amazing beach I have seen! This is the location of major surfing tournaments. I am already a little burned, but I have put on sunscreen today. It is beautiful and it is so nice to rest in the majesty of our Lord! Yesterday we were able to shadow some of the J'bay team in their ministries and it was awesome to see what they are doing. I went to an afterschool program in the township here. It is overwhelming how this beautiful beach town is right next to a very poor township. It is a challenge to see this. Then, tomorrow we start classes and I am being trained in leadership. Please pray that our speakers make it here as they have just missed their connecting flight. Thank you for your prayers, I am so blessed by your support, and I am so excited to prepare for Kenya.
