Hello Everyone,
I am in my last week here in South Africa. We start debriefing the trip tomorrow, and I am full of mixed emotions. I am sad to say goodbye to some friends that I have made in J'bay, and I am sad to say goodbye to my friends on other teams, but I am also excited to come home and see everyone! I am just trying to remain focused on today and living each day in the Lord's power.
This week I have been spending a lot of time in a coffee shop called Kaluso's where Allison and I have been getting to know her and encourage her. Her and her daughter Hope are amazing, and it has been a priviledge to get to know them. I praise God for this relationship.
The classes have been so challenging, and I am excited to apply the things that I have learned. I thank Ben, Jim, Greg, and Nate for coming to Africa and pouring into us.
I will be home in 8 days, and then I will post a few more great stories and some pictures. I hope that you are all having a wonderful Christmas! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we prepare for coming home and adjusting to life back in America.
Blessings,
Carrie
